Ancient Desert Store is the retail side of Ancient Desert Sounds and Recording. The store trades mainly with audio-related items from the late 1900's (last century - '60s to '90s). CDs, DVDs, books, clothing (new), art, used equipment and anything else that we think will work for our store. Quality and original-content is one of our main goals as is with any business. Vintage is our passion. ADSR started out, in 1996, as an electronic music and recording lab in Denver, Colorado. Its hosted a couple small music festivals and bar nights. While working in Southern California for SecondSpin.com, a great amount of knowledge was aquired in the collectible CDs and DVDs department (Yeah, I'm the one who was behind that rarities and out-of-print list). Since the merger to the Carson warehouse, you probably can figure out the rest. As of October 2004, Ancient Desert has remerged with a collection of rarities with the hope of exploring the past for young and old alike.
